  • "Wanjira and her team pulled off an unforgettable wedding day in Zanzibar. We organized everything remotely in Germany and she worked within our tight budget to make magic. She was organized and thorough and everything was exactly as I pictured. She arrived with a smile and a big hug and I didn’t have to worry about my big day."

  • "Wanjira is a dream to work with. She organised our wedding on Zanzibar and everything went so smoothly - we did everything remotely from Germany and she solved so many problems before they got to us which allowed us to just enjoy our day"

  • "We chose Zanzibar for its privacy and natural beauty, but what made the experience exceptional was the level of execution. Planning from Japan, we needed a team that could handle complexity without constant involvement from us. Wanjira did exactly that. Every detail from guest arrivals into Zanzibar to the pacing of our four-day celebration was managed with precision and discretion. Our 16 guests were seamlessly taken care of, which allowed us to fully enjoy the experience without interruption. The ceremony itself, set against the ocean at sunset, was refined, intimate, and beautifully executed ."

How it works

Six stages. No surprises. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you reach out to the moment we start building your wedding.

  • Enquiry

    Day 0

Reach out through any channel . The website form, email, WhatsApp, or Instagram. There is no wrong entry point. We ask a few short questions to understand the basics: your date if you have one, your destination shortlist, a rough guest count, and what kind of celebration you are imagining.

What you do: Send a message/ fill the form on the connect page

  • Within 24 hours

We respond to every enquiry within 24 hours. If your date and destination are within our availability, we confirm a consultation call. If we are already committed on your date, we tell you immediately — no lead left in limbo.

What you do: Confirm a time for the call. A Calendly link is included, or we agree a time directly if you come through WhatsApp.

  • This is a working conversation, not a sales call. We cover your vision for the wedding, the destination, your guest list and who is travelling, any cultural traditions to incorporate, your timeline, and budget. We ask direct questions. You should too.

By the end of the call, we both have a clear picture of what this wedding is — and whether we are the right team to plan it.

What you do: Come with a rough sense of guest count, any non-negotiables, and your cultural background if it shapes the ceremony. Budget does not need to be exact — a range is enough. Inspiration images are welcome but not required.

  • Within 3–5 days of the call

We send a written proposal tailored to your wedding. It covers the full planning scope, what is included, what sits outside the planning fee, our fee, and next steps. Nothing is templated — the proposal reflects the specific conversation we had.

Read it carefully. Ask questions. We expect a dialogue before anything is signed.

What you do: Review the proposal and come back with questions or requests for changes. There is no pressure on timeline — take the time you need to be comfortable with what you are committing to.

  • Once the proposal is agreed

Once both parties are aligned on scope and fee, we issue a contract. It covers the full scope of services, the payment schedule, and cancellation terms. The contract and deposit are processed together — your date is not held until both are complete.

The deposit amount is confirmed in the proposal and varies by project scale.

What you do: Sign the contract and process the deposit payment. Once both are received, your date is confirmed and the engagement is formalized.

  • Planning starts

We schedule the first planning session within two weeks of the deposit. Vendor outreach begins, the guest logistics framework is established, and we set the communication cadence for the months ahead.

From this point, you have one team and one point of contact for everything.

What you do: Show up to the first session. From here, we lead the process.
